Minutes outside of Panama City, the layout of Santa Maria Country Club measures 7,153 yards from the back tees and offers four tee box locations in order to accommodate players of all ages and skill levels.
The course has been designed to always provide the player with a safe route to the green, with well-placed bunkering to reward proper ball placement and shot execution. A premium is placed on the short game, especially around the well-contoured greens that allow for some interesting pin placements. 
The Santa Maria Golf Course, available through The American Sports Academy Golf Packages, is managed by Troon of Scottsdale, Arizona. It is currently the world’s largest and most prestigious golf course management company with more than 270 golf courses in its portfolio. Additionally, Nicklaus Design is recognized as the industry leader worldwide for their golf course design and construction.

HAIG POINT & HILTON HEAD

Designed in 1986 by Rees Jones, Haig Point has 20 holes and is designed to bring out the best in the game and golfer, and the course's legacy is one of the best in the nation.

 

The Signature course has appeared in Golf Digest's "America's 100 Greatest Courses" and has earned a coveted position in Golf Magazine's "Top 100 in the World." When we say we truly have the best, we aren't lying. Part of the fun of playing our Signature course is the fact that both the 8th and 17th holes have two holes to choose from making this a true challenge. Par is 72 on this 74.9 rated course. The Bermuda grass has a slope rating of 142 and can be challenging but is completely worth it.
