Fitness at ASA encompasses a number of different areas. Campers looking to gain strength and get in shape for a particular sport will be trained by our professional staff in the brand new state of the art fitness center. Coaches even make the most of our beachside location by planning workouts in the water and on the sand!
Private sessions combine with group lessons for weight loss, muscle toning, and sport specific performance training. There’s something here to keep everyone at the top of their game!
Campers will not only receive personal one on one training, evaluation and guidance while at camp, but also will receive personal training regimens to take home for continued improvement over the school year. Our professional staff will remain in contact throughout the year to guide and support our athletes as they are involved in their school and club teams.
Q: Can my child work on their school team fitness program while at camp?
A: Absolutely! We are happy to help our athletes complete their summer training for school teams. Our coaches will look at the literature provided to your camper and implement it during electives!
Q: Does my camper have to know their way around the gym to participate?
A: No, we have designed our program to teach young athletes how to make use of the gym little by little. Safety is our top priority so staff will take campers through stations within the gym and act as spotters.
